Having a good laugh

Yesterday was one of those days when my darling daughter was cracking me up left, right and centre! After we left the shopping mall it went steadily downhill. She was telling me about her most recent poem - something about Barbie getting drunk. I told her everyone is going to think her parents are lushes considering how much she integrates drinking into her writing! She said she would tell her teachers that it wasn't true, they (referring to us/parents) quit being lushes years ago!!! I couldn't stop laughing, it was getting dangerous trying to drive in that condition! :) She has never even seen the pictures my dear friend in Norway has - so no proof exists here! Although it feels like that party girl is somehow beginning to make her way back. It's about time! ;)

I'm so glad I sat safely in my chair in front the computer while reading this post. Talking about cracking up!

Thank you for sharing...

(This reminds me of something that happened years ago. Short version - got pulled over for speeding, and there's a voice from the back of the car: "It's been a long time now, mummy!"

Deb, absolutely priceless - and where they get/take it from is beyond my comprehension!! Yes, if she only knew.... I do have A LOT of pictures with wonderful memories of a past life in carefree joy and happiness, and I may just show them to Anika!! However, not until she's old enough to understand a few things about the complexity of adult life :)

I know, although she has a far more advanced understanding of things than I realize! But then I don't really recall exactly what pictures you have..... as long as I'm fully/mostly clothed?! ;)

Clothes aren't the problem... In fact, nothing is a problem - simply good times! However, you need to be old enough to understand the type of fun young adults indulge in :)

Or 'older' adults???? ;) No need to give her any additional ideas! :)
