I was able to pick up Domingo's remains today. He's finally home again. I miss him terribly but I'm feeling better about letting him go. It will take some time but I'm already spending more time focusing on all those special times. Each day will get a bit easier.

Deb, it is very true, time heals, and as you say, there are many wonderful memories from his life together with you. We all know he must have been the happiest, never mind luckiest, cat that ever lived!!
I hope he enjoyed his time with me! I tried to give him all the love and attention he could ever want. He certainly deserved all the best in life!
All animals deserve our devoted love and attention. However, quite a number of them live under appalling living conditions, as you know. Domingo lived the life of Riley, and is smiling to you from his much deserved cat heaven :)
Good to know. Sometimes I wondered if it was enough....although there were enough people who did look at me like I was absolutely CRAZY!!! ;)
